Funding and loans to become a pilot

How to plan for the cost of pilot training

Becoming a professional pilot means investing in your own training and your own future.

Asteraviation helps you understand the costs involved from the very beginning—including what is covered and any potential additional expenses—so that you can plan your investment with greater clarity, even in consultation with your family.

How much does it cost to become a professional pilot?

The cost of training depends on the chosen program and the student’s starting level.
During the orientation interview, Asteraviation provides:

The cost of training
The detailed list of included activities and services
An estimate of any costs not included
The scheduled installment plan

Prices are not published on the website; once the consultation is complete, you will receive a written breakdown, ensuring you have a clear picture of the investment before getting started.
If you already hold licenses or qualifications obtained through other schools, Asteraviation will review your documentation and assess your current level of proficiency before defining your training path and providing a corresponding cost estimate.

Solutions for financing the journey

To cover the costs of pilot training, Asteraviation students can consider options made available by banking institutions.

These include “Per Merito” from Intesa Sanpaolo, “Prestito Volare” from BCC Valpolicella Benaco, and BNL Futuriamo, all of which have different access requirements.

The granting of the loan is always subject to assessment by the bank.

Intesa Sanpaolo’s “Per Merito” (For Merit) Loan

“Per Merito” is a solution designed for students. For Asteraviation students, eligibility is assessed in consultation with the school following the ATPL exams, based on the results achieved.
The granting remains subject to assessment by the banking institution.

“Prestito Volare” by BCC Valpolicella Benaco

“Prestito Volare” is an exclusive solution reserved for Asteraviation students, available for all of the Academy’s courses. The loan is managed directly by BCC Valpolicella Benaco.
The granting is subject to the Bank’s approval; the Bank directly manages the application, assessment, contractual terms, and disbursement.

BNL Futuriamo Loan

BNL Futuriamo can be requested to support one’s educational path and the expenses associated with that education. The application, evaluation, and disbursement processes are handled directly by the Bank.
The granting is subject to the Bank’s assessment and approval.

How to navigate costs and financing

In both cases, the application, credit assessment, terms and conditions, and disbursement are the responsibility of the banking institutions.
