Are you considering a career path in the world of aviation?

Cadet Aptitude Day is a monthly career orientation event organized by Asteraviation Flight Academy. It is designed for those who wish to test themselves and gain a better understanding of their own aptitudes before beginning their training program.

A flight with an instructor, an aptitude assessment, and a consultation with an aviation psychologist will provide you with initial feedback on your starting point.

How the Cadet Aptitude Day unfolds

1

Flight with an instructor

You will enjoy a flight experience accompanied by a dedicated instructor. No prior experience is required.

2

Aptitude assessment

You will engage in activities focused on some of the skills required for the profession of a pilot, including reasoning, information management, situational awareness, and decision-making.

3

Interview with an aviation psychologist

The consultation with an aviation psychologist serves as a form of guidance: it helps you better understand your personal and behavioral traits, and identify specific areas to work on during your training or in preparation for airline selection processes.

4

Final feedback

At the end of the day, you will receive feedback on your strengths and on areas you can develop during the training.

Who is it for?

Cadet Aptitude Day is designed for those considering a professional future as a pilot, even without any prior flight experience.

You don’t need to arrive already prepared: the day is designed to help you understand your starting point and to provide more concrete information for evaluating the path ahead.

Why participate?

Choosing to become an airline pilot means investing time, effort, and resources into one’s training.

Before getting started, it can therefore be useful to look beyond information about courses and licenses and gain some firsthand experience in the world of flight.

The Cadet Aptitude Day has a different objective than an Open Day. It is not merely an information session, but a comprehensive experience that allows you to engage with key aspects of the professional career path—such as workload, communication, learning, managing pressure, and an initial introduction to the cockpit environment.

Ready to put yourself to the test?

Take part in the upcoming Cadet Aptitude Day and experience firsthand an initial step toward a potential career as a pilot.
